New Delhi [India], May 23 (ANI): BJP MP Vivek Thakur has criticised Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on Operation Sindoor, saying that the Congress MP are one of the few people who try to do politics only after 'breaking the morale of India's Army'.
Speaking with ANI on Thursday, Thakur said, 'There are few such people who try to do politics only after breaking the morale of India's army, and this is very unfortunate. Rahul ji continues to do the same.'
'Today, India's army has transformed. The world is now studying the remarkable example of the unified command structure demonstrated during Operation Sindoor,' he added.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi again questioned External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, accusing him of being silent on how many aircraft the Indian Air Force lost during Operation Sindoor and said that the nation 'deserves the truth.'
'EAM Jaishankar's silence isn't just telling -- it's damning. So I'll ask again: How many Indian aircraft did we lose because Pakistan knew? This wasn't a lapse. It was a crime. And the nation deserves the truth,' Rahul Gandhi posted on X.
Further, the BJP MP welcomed India's All Party Parliamentary Delegation, visiting different capitals worldwide to highlight India's message of zero tolerance against terrorism.
'It is very clear that we are going out with the subject of India. It is a welcoming initiative,' Thakur said.
India has sent an all-party delegation to highlight the perpetration of cross-border terrorism and Pakistan's efforts to cause social disharmony in India.
The all-party delegation projects India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It will convey to the world the country's strong message of zero tolerance for terrorism.
India had launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. India launched precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian Armed Forces responded effectively to subsequent Pakistani aggression and pounded its airbases. The two countries have reached an understanding to stop military action following a call made by Pakistan's DGMO to his Indian counterpart.
